Eddie Holiday III

Coach Eddie L. Holiday III, is Manager and Counsel of Litigation at American Express. Consistently earning awards within the community such as Top 40 Under 40 by the National Black Lawyers, Daily Business Review, and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-- along with various litigation specific awards such as the Best Closer in South Florida by the Legal Services of Greater Miami and Most Outstanding Cross Examiner by the Bowman and Brooke Trial College, Coach Holiday has significant experience in aspects of litigation and trial advocacy. Coach Holiday's current practice includes the representation and management of American Express's interests in state and federal courts throughout the county for various banking consumer laws and finance regulatory issues.

 

Prior to joining American Express, Coach Holiday was a Litigation Associate at a prominent national defense firm where his practice focused on representing Global 500 corporate clients on complex commercial matters along with catastrophic personal injury, and wrongful death cases. Before entering the civil arena, Coach Holiday served his community as an Assistant State Attorney within the Miami-Dade Office of the State Attorney. As a prosecutor assigned to the Career Criminal and Robbery unit, he worked closely with criminal investigation agencies at the local, state and federal level to handle some of the most complicated and violent cases in Miami-Dade County. He also conducted over twenty bench trials and fifty-three jury trials to verdict over his five-year career as an Assistant State Attorney.

 

Coach Holiday earned his juris doctorate from the Howard University School of Law. In law school, Coach Holiday was a member of the award-winning Charles Hamilton Houston National Moot Court Team and a Dean's Fellow. Coach Holiday earned his bachelor of arts degree in Legal Communications from Howard University. As an undergraduate, Coach Holiday was President of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Forensic Society and Captain of Howard University's Mock Trial Team.

 

Coach Holiday began coaching with the Panther Mock Trial in 2018 along with his wife, Mrs. Kioceaia Stenson-Holiday.
